Which materials do you process?
We process a wide range of composites to make film bags. These range from aluminium composites of various strengths and with various properties to aluminium-paper composites to composites made of PA/PE, PET/PE or metallised PET/PE.

What does HDPE mean?
Film made of polyethylene with a high density (HD = high density). The permeability for water vapour, leaky substances, etc. is very low. HDPE films are also very tear resistant and stretchable. The film is excellent for packaging products that must withstand high mechanical properties.

What does LDPE mean?
Film made of polyethylene with a low density (LD = low density). More strongly branched polymer chains make the film softer and smoother than polyethylene film with a high density. This makes it more suitable for processing in general.

The decision between HDPE and LDPE is generally made based on the intended content.

What does PA mean?
Polyamide (or PA) is a thermoplastic synthetic material. It’s characteristics include strong stability and durability when in contact with chemicals and a good barrier. Polyamide is a basic element in many multi-layer films. It primarily serves as a barrier layer.

What does PET / PETmet mean?
Polyester (or PET) is one of the most versatile plastics. Like polyamide, it has good mechanical properties like resistance to tearing and puncturing. Polyester offers a strong barrier and is not sensitive to heat or cold. PETmet refers to films made of polyester that are vapour-plated with a thin aluminium layer. This increases the density of the material. Unlike aluminium composites, metallised PET films are slightly translucent when held against light.

What exactly is an aluminium composite?
Films made of aluminium composite have multiple layers. The various layers are joined using either an adhesive or in an extrusion process. This makes it possible to produce composite films with various mechanical and technical properties. Aluminium composites are characterised by a high resistance to puncturing, strong barrier properties when in contact with gases, leaky substances, acids, bases, odours and environmental influences. This makes these bags excellent for all types of long-term preservation.

Which pond lining films do you offer?
We offer pond lining films made of PVC in anthracite. PVC pond lining films do not contain reclaimed rubber, are not susceptible to root growth and are UV stabilised. You can choose between strengths ranging from 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm. You can either order ready-to-use welded pond tarps that we produce to your specifications, or you can choose goods on a roll. Unwelded webs are available in a width of 2.0 m. Welded webs are available in widths of 4.0 m, 6.0 m or 8.0 m.

Does your company have a set delivery programme?
We always produce according to your wishes. This is why we do not have any set sizes available in storage. We always offer bags that meet your desired sizes instead.

Which goods are offered as special items?
Our special items are comprised of surplus production and secondary webs. We offer these at low prices. You can find an overview of the special items currently available HERE.

Delivery times?
We ask that you allow a lead time of approx. 4 weeks for the production of your individual packaging solution. Please allow approx. 6 weeks if you would like spouts for the bags. We always try to meet your desired delivery deadlines.

In which sizes do you deliver your flat bags?
The smallest flat bags we produce measure 31 x 40 mm (outer dimensions). Our largest bags are available with a width of 1,200 mm. There is no set length for these bags. All sizes in between are also possible!

What is meant by inner and outer dimensions?
The outer dimensions of a side-sealed bag refers to its actual size incl. the sealing seams. The inner dimensions of a side-sealed bag refers to the fillable size of the bag and does not include the sealing seams.

The standard dimensions for our sealing seams are: 7.5 mm per side seam, 10 mm for the bottom seam. Example: Inner dimensions: 100 x 150 mm → Outer dimensions: 115 x 160 mm

Can film bags be printed?
Nothing prevents film bags from being printed. We are happy to offer printing for entire surface of the bag or with a motif of your choice. Bags can be printed on one side or both sides in up to eight colours.
